Gunsmiths comment: "Pits in barrels - the mount looks like a self-made type mount - hard to say to what weight of optical device it will hold zero. Both barrels have been modified for an insert in the past. Considering these facts my best guess is that this rifle was used as a "weak (22lr to 5,6x50R) caliber double-rifle" in the past with a low powered scope."
